Hey there. Glad everyone is gettign on board for the new news group. Count
me in... but just one thing... I'd really like to get some help from people
separating the notion of clowning from balloon sculpture. I'm a clown, but
I've been tying the damn things only under duress. I personally like to slip
on bannana peels and walk into walls.
(No offense meant, by the way, to those who are masters of balloooooooons. I
think that everyone has an individual genius. Sometimes, I think you guys
need a life...but my friends always say that about me, so I sit in judgement
of no one.)
It's just that people think of clowns as these irritating bewigged crazed
psychopaths shoving balloons at kids in malls, instead of thinking about...
oh I don't know... Chaplin, Keaton, or someone like John Gilke (sp?).
Am I the only one who thinks that it might be easier to do the schtick if the
pressure to give the kiddie a balloon wasn't there?
Anyway everyone keep up the good work.
Mandy
